RS 2025/26 HARVEST: SOYBEAN PLANTING REACHES ITS FINAL STAGE.

Crop conditions in Rio Grande do Sul are broadly positive, according to Emater/RS. Soybean planting has reached 98% of the projected 6.7 million hectares, with crops showing good development and limited disease pressure, though weed control and pest monitoring remain important. Corn harvest is advancing under favorable weather, with satisfactory yields and good phytosanitary conditions, while corn silage harvest is also progressing with strong productivity. Bean planting for the first crop exceeds 90% with healthy crops, and initial estimates for the second crop indicate moderate yields. Rice planting is over 98% complete across 920,000 hectares, with crops in good condition, adequate water supply, and some areas already in flowering and grain filling stages.
