RONDÔNIA’S COFFEE EXPORTS SOAR 645% IN 2024, RANKING AMONG BRAZIL’S TOP PRODUCERS

Rondônia became Brazil’s second-largest robusta coffee producer and the top in the North, with an average production of 194,148 tons. In 2024, the state exported 35,056 tons, a 645% rise from 2023, earning US$ 130.99 million and ranking among Brazil’s top five coffee exporters, surpassing Paraná. This success stems from state-supported investments in technology, farmer training, and coffee seedling distribution, with over 2 million seedlings provided since 2019. Key events like the Technological Fair in Cacoal and the London coffee festival boosted international visibility. Major buyers include Vietnam, Germany, the US, and Mexico. Coffee exports generated jobs for 20,000 producers, strengthening the local economy.
