PR HARVEST 2025/26: RECENT RAINS BOOST CROPS

Recent rainfall has improved crop conditions in Paraná, supporting vegetative growth and advancing both harvests and second-crop planting. Soybean maturation and harvesting are progressing, though yields vary depending on grain-filling weather, with drought-affected areas seeing losses and better-watered regions reporting solid performance. Isolated cases of Asian soybean rust are being treated. First-crop corn harvests are advancing with generally expected yields, while second-crop planting continues as fields are cleared, despite uneven rainfall and some pest pressure. First-crop beans are largely harvested, with second-crop planting underway, though some areas are shifting to corn. Fruit production remains steady overall, but fungal diseases have significantly reduced grape output in certain regions.
