PR 2025/26 HARVEST: SOYBEAN PLANTING CONTINUES AT A FAST PACE

Soybean planting in Paraná is advancing rapidly under ideal moisture and climate conditions, with crops showing healthy growth and positive expectations for the 2025/26 season, according to Deral. The first corn crop is nearly complete, displaying good vigor, while winter crops like oats, canola, barley, and wheat report good productivity and quality, despite lower wheat prices. Beans face challenges from cold and humidity, affecting germination and growth. Other crops, such as potatoes, coffee, sugarcane, onions, and fruits, generally show good performance, though low prices limit profitability in some cases. Pastures are recovering well with recent rains, benefiting livestock.
