POSITIVE OUTLOOK FOR PARANA’S MAIN CROP HARVEST

Fieldwork for Paraná’s 2025-26 harvest is progressing rapidly. Soybeans, the state’s main crop, cover roughly 4.8 million hectares, with most areas in good condition and at the vegetative or flowering stage. Production is forecast at approximately 22 million tons. First-crop corn has been planted on about 339 thousand hectares, with over 90% of crops rated average to good. The larger second crop, which accounts for most state output, is projected to exceed 2.8 million hectares, though planting remains in its early stages.
