The Port of Paranaguá’s PAR14 and PAR15 auctions, set for April 30, are expected to attract approximately BRL 1.5 billion in investments to modernize the handling of vegetable solid bulk. PAR14, a 35-year contract covering 82,000 m², includes BRL 980 million in repairs, including the “T” pier and Moegão transport systems. PAR15, with 43 thousand m², should receive BRL 601 million. Road reception and rail integration will be prioritized. The project is intended to double movement capacity and create jobs while providing legal and environmental security. The Waterway Access Channel concession, which invested BRL 1.07 billion, aims to deepen the channel to 15.5 meters for larger ships. With a BRL 600 million investment, Moegão will connect rail and port flow.
