Portos do Paraná is investing over R$ 18 million to revitalize Avenida Conde Matarazzo and Rua Engenheiro Luiz Augusto Leão da Fonseca, key access roads to the Port of Antonina. The project will renew over 4.6 km of pavement with durable concrete, improving safety and reducing maintenance costs. It also includes bike lanes, accessibility ramps, new bus shelters, and upgraded drainage to prevent flooding. Construction starts between May and June 2024, with completion expected in early 2026. In 2024, the Port of Antonina handled 1.9 million tons of cargo, a 47% increase from 2023.
