The 2025 figures show positive results from vessel traffic at the Port of Ilhéus. The terminal generated R$ 15.5 million in tariff revenue, an increase of approximately 10.27% compared to 2024. Performance was driven mainly by project cargo, which rose 100.86%, reflecting the higher added value of the goods transported. According to Antonio Gobbo, president of the Federal Port Authority – CODEBA, the growth reflects investments in modernizing infrastructure. More than R$31 million was allocated to maintenance dredging, fencing of the customs area, and installation of an access control system—essential services to expand operational capacity and port security in what is a strategic area for the Federal Government and fundamental to regional and national economic development.
