The Port of Cabedelo set a historic record in March, handling over 172,030 tons of cargo, driven by petcoke imports and strong fuel shipments. So far in 2024, it has processed over 285,000 tons, balancing solid and liquid bulk cargo. President Ricardo Barbosa credited the milestone to investments and team efforts, reinforcing the port’s strategic importance. Currently undergoing a R$300 million infrastructure program, the port aims to enhance logistics, attract new cargo types, and solidify its role in container cabotage. The milestone coincides with its 90th anniversary, marking a transformation into a modern, efficient, and strategic economic hub for Paraíba, generating jobs and boosting business.
