The Santos Port Authority (APS) welcomed executives from Infra SA and government officials for the delivery of a feasibility study on an Export Processing Zone (EPZ). APS President Anderson Pomini highlighted the study’s significance, emphasizing the role of EPZs in port development worldwide. Mariana Pescatori, representing the Ministry of Ports and Airports, stressed the international importance of EPZs. Jorge Bastos of Infra SA commended Santos for its commitment to port development. Bruno Orlandi, representing the Mayor of Santos, underscored the study’s potential for regional economic growth. The study, conducted by Infra SA, aims to bring progress and investment to the region, following discussions between APS, the Santos City Hall, and the Ministry of Ports and Airports.
