PORT OF ITAJAÍ SURPASSES 2024 ANNUAL REVENUE IN FIRST HALF OF 2025, REACHES R$89.8 MILLION

In the first half of 2025, the Port of Itajaí surpassed its total 2024 revenue, reaching R$89.8 million compared to last year’s R$86 million. This result highlights the terminal’s growing efficiency and its recovery as a key logistics hub in Brazil. Major contributions came from Roll-on/Roll-off operations, notably the arrival of the vessel BYD Shenzhen, which unloaded over 7,000 vehicles—the largest Ro-Ro operation in Brazil. The port also handled vehicles from BMW, reinforcing its role in the automotive supply chain. General cargo operations also grew, boosting worker income and confirming Itajaí’s importance to the national economy.
