The Port of Imbituba handled 641,000 tons in February 2026 across 27 vessel calls, marking one of its best results for the month. Exports reached 392,500 tons (+56% m/m; +135% y/y), driven by coke and corn meal, while imports totaled 189,800 tons, including coal, salt and industrial inputs. Cabotage volumes also increased. Year-to-date, solid bulk leads (78%), followed by containers (14%) and general cargo (8%). Trade operations generated over US$323 million in the first two months, reflecting improved infrastructure and rising competitiveness in foreign trade.
