The Federal Government canceled the auction for the STS08 terminal at the Port of Santos and assigned its operation to Petrobras. Located in Alemoa with an area of 152,300 m², the terminal is key for Brazil’s fuel logistics. According to Ports and Airports Minister Silvio Costa Filho, Petrobras will soon present an investment plan to expand and modernize operations. The decision strengthens the State’s role in managing vital energy infrastructure and is expected to improve logistics efficiency and safety. The official decree and investment details are still pending.
