Brazilian oil company Petrobras reached its highest market value ever on Thursday, closing at BRL 552 billion in the São Paulo Stock Exchange. Its shares PETR3 and PETR4 closed at BRL 42.96 and BRL 41.57, respectively. Since January, PETR3 has increased by over 8%, and PETR4 by over 9%. The company’s President Jean Paul Prates attributed this record to investment resumption, while the Chief Financial Officer, Sérgio Leite, considered it a collective success for the workers.
