Petrobras reported that its proven oil and gas reserves reached 12.1 billion barrels of oil equivalent in 2025, up from 11.4 billion in 2024. Of this total, 84% is oil and condensate and 16% natural gas. The company added 1.7 billion boe during the year, achieving a reserve replacement rate of 175% despite record production. The reserves-to-production ratio stands at 12.5 years. Growth was driven mainly by strong asset performance in the Santos Basin, particularly the Búzios, Tupi, Itapu and mero fields. Petrobras also highlighted progress in the Budião fields in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin and new well projects in the Santos and Campos basins.
