PETROBRAS PRODUCES RECORD GASOLINE IN THE THIRD QUARTER, WITH 436 THOUSAND BARRELS PER DAY

Petrobras reported a record gasoline production of 436,000 barrels per day in Q3, marking a 2.83% increase from the previous year. This achievement is attributed to higher refinery utilization and investments in refining capabilities. In September, refinery utilization reached 96.8%, the year’s highest monthly rate. Despite this, the cumulative utilization factor for Q3 was 95.2%, slightly below last year’s 96%. William França da Silva, Petrobras’ director of industrial processes, emphasized that these results reflect the company’s commitment to operational efficiency and profitability, resulting from modernization projects and innovative technologies. Additionally, Q3 saw a record 73% of the total load processed from pre-salt oils in distillation units.
