PARANA’S SOYBEAN COMPLEX EXPORTS INCREASED 61% AND ARE LIKELY TO BREAK PREVIOUS RECORD

According to the Paraná Department of Agriculture and Supply, the state’s soybean complex exports, which include grain, meal, oil, and derivatives, increased by 61% between January and September 2023, totaling 12.3 million tons and generating USD 6.6 billion, a 39% increase. The state plans on shipping 3 million tons more by the end of the year, increasing the total to 15 million. Corn exports climbed by 70% through September, with 2.7 million tons shipped, with predictions of topping the 2019 record of 4.7 million tons.
