Paraná is predicted to have a record corn harvest in the second harvest of 2024-25, with a forecast of 17.06 million tons, beating original estimates despite frost and droughts. The harvest has already reached 64% of the 2.77 million hectares, and the total result is expected to be positive, cementing the state’s record-breaking yield. Other crops also grew: Wheat (2.61M tons), beans (862K tons), coffee (high yield), barley (431.7K tons), and oats. Potatoes neared full harvest (315.6K tons), while tomatoes (92.6K tons) rose and onions fell 16.3%. In livestock, poultry egg exports grew, but chicken meat declined nationally—though Paraná led with 1.083M tons.
