The ports of Paraná had a busy first half (H1), with a 30.9 million tonnes cargo throughput, a 6% increase from the same period in 2022 (29 million tonnes). In June alone, 5.7 million tonnes of cargo passed through the Paranaguá and Antonina terminals. This was a 12% increase from June last year, which saw 3.2 million tonnes. Solid bulk accounts for almost 63.4% of the total movement. From January to June this year, 19.6 million tonnes were moved in this segment, 7% more than the 18.3 million tonnes last year. In June, 3,748,971 tonnes of solid bulk were shipped and unloaded. This was 14.7% higher than the 3.3 million tonnes in 2022.
