OVER 90% OF BRAZIL’S SECOND CORN CROP ALREADY HARVESTED

According to Pátria AgroNegócios, the harvest of Brazil’s second corn crop in 2024 reached 91.28% of the total area this week, up from 77.88% at the same period last year. In its final stretch, the harvest is also ahead of the prior five years’ average for this time of year, which was 82.75%. Pátria says that “the Brazilian harvest registered a record pace in 2024, favored by a smaller area and plantings taking place inside the earliest window of implementation of the second harvest.”
