The Port of Cabedelo achieved a historic result in the month of July 2023, registering an impressive 103% increase in operations compared to the same period of the previous year. The report released by the port administration revealed that 166,533 thousand tons of cargo were handled, including products such as wheat, malt, petcoke, diesel and gasoline. The highlight was petcoke, with more than 74 thousand tons operated in July alone. This expressive volume of movement boosted the positive result achieved by the Port of Cabedelo, which continues to stand out as an important entry and exit point for goods in the region. Throughout 2023, the total cargo handled was 6.19% higher compared to the previous year, totaling 775,960 thousand tons. This growth signals the continued strengthening of operations at the Port of Cabedelo and reinforces its position as a strategic link in national and international trade.
