Oil prices dropped over 2% on Monday amid progress in US-Iran negotiations, while persistent concerns about economic headwinds from tariffs weighed on fuel demand expectations. Brent crude futures fell 2.5% (USD 1.70) to USD 66.26 a barrel, reversing part of Thursday’s 3.2% gain, which marked the week’s final trade session due to the Good Friday holiday. West Texas Intermediate crude declined 2.5% (USD 1.60) to USD 63.08 per barrel, paring back its 3.54% increase from the previous day.
