Cabotage shipping grew by 26.71%, handling 872 thousand tons, while long-haul navigation increased by 19.22% to 4.4 million tons. The main commodities were corn, with 3.8 million tons, and bauxite, with 1.9 million tons. The Port of Vila do Conde (PA) led regional activity, handling 1.8 million tons during the month.
