NINE PARANÁ PRODUCTS POST EXPORT GROWTH ABOVE 30% IN 2025

Paraná’s trade balance report for January–November 2025 shows strong export performance, with nine key products registering notable growth. Cereals led the surge, doubling exports from US$478 million to US$1 billion (+109%), followed by fresh beef (+63%) and significant gains in pork, taps and valves, tractors, automobiles, cargo vehicles, crude soybean oil, and soluble coffee. Ipardes attributes this diversification to the state’s robust production structure and successful investment attraction, while officials highlight Paraná’s resilience despite global tariff pressures. Overall, the state exported US$21.6 billion—its best result in the South—mainly soybeans, chicken meat, soybean meal, sugar, and cereals. China remained the top destination, and exports to several countries, including Argentina and Iran, expanded sharply. Paraná closed the period with a US$2.6 billion trade surplus, with imports reaching US$18.8 billion.
