The 2023-24 winter corn harvest in Mato Grosso climbed by 13.68 percentage points in a week, reaching 89.96% of the area, according to a weekly bulletin from the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea). The state had harvested 68.23% of the cultivated area in the same period last season. The central north is the most advanced region, with 96.56% of the area already harvested.
