MATO GROSSO HAS ALREADY HARVESTED 76.28% OF THE AREA CULTIVATED WITH CORN, SAYS IMEA

The corn harvest in Mato Grosso reached 76.28% of the cultivated area until this Friday, 5th, a weekly increase of 13.88 percentage points, maintaining the strong pace of work, according to a survey by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea). Mato Grosso producers’ harvest is 26.83 percentage points ahead of the same time last year, while the historical average for the period is 59.34%.
