MATO GROSSO HARVESTED 4.73% OF THE 2023-24 WINTER CORN CROP

Mato Grosso’s 2023-24 winter corn crop climbed by 2.79% in a week, reaching 4.73% of the planted area, according to Imea. This is a 3.47 percentage point rise over the same period last harvest, and 2.81 percentage points higher than the previous five-year average. The mid-north region leads the harvest, accounting for 7.93% of the harvested area, followed by the west (6.22%) and northwest (5.28%). Other areas’ percentages range from 4.59% to 0.90%.
