MATO GROSSO EXPORTS SOAR TO 157 COUNTRIES, DRIVING USD 25.95 BILLION IN 2024

According to data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC) Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex), Mato Grosso produced USD 25.95 billion and exported 161 different types of goods to 157 countries between January and November 2024. The products were primarily shipped to China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Turkey. About 8.3% of Brazilian exports came from Mato Grosso. The State exported 90% soybeans, corn grains, cotton, bagasse, and other soybean residues, along with frozen boneless beef. Last year, Mato Grosso shipped 64 million tons and traded USD 30.09 billion. Shipments to 148 countries totaled 181 products, or 9.68% of Brazilian exports.
