MAPA SECURES LARGEST MARKET-ACCESS EXPANSION IN HISTORY FOR BRAZILIAN AGRIBUSINESS

In 2025, Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) reached a historic milestone by consolidating the opening of 507 markets for Brazilian agribusiness products since the beginning of the current administration, the most significant advance ever recorded in the sector.  From January to November 2025, Brazilian agribusiness exports totaled US$155.25 billion, the highest value ever recorded for the period and 1.7% above the same period last year. Over the year, products such as soybeans, fresh beef, green coffee, pulp, soybean meal, cotton, and pork recorded increases in both value and export volume A study developed by ApexBrasil in partnership with Mapa indicates that the more than 500 markets opened since 2023 have already generated US$3.4 billion in additional exports.
