JALLES PROJECTS CRUSHING OF 7.94 MILLION TONS OF SUGARCANE IN THE 2025/26 HARVEST

Jalles Machado, which operates three sugarcane mills, projects crushing 7.94 million tons of sugarcane in the 2025/26 season—a 1% increase over the last harvest, but below the previous forecast of 8.23 million tons. Agricultural productivity is expected to fall 1.8%, averaging 83 t/ha, mainly due to drops at the Jalles Machado and Otávio Lage units. However, TRS (sugar content) is projected to rise slightly. The company plans to shift its focus to sugar, raising its production share from 44.6% to 54%, while ethanol falls to 46%. Investment for 2025/26 will total R$746.7 million, with major funds allocated to operational improvements, crop renewal, and irrigation expansion.
