IMEA: SOYBEAN HARVEST REACHES 97.33% IN MT, OFF-SEASON CORN PLANTING AT 99.48%

According to Imea, the 2024-25 soybean harvest in Mato Grosso reached 97.33% of the entire area, up 5.49 percentage points from the previous week and surpassing last year’s 95.60%. While the northeast index came at 93.01%, the mid-north area produced 100% of the harvest. The harvest rate affects the off-season corn planting; it attained 99.48% of the projected area, slightly higher than 99.45% in 2024. While the southeast has 98.05% and the west has the most delay, 98.61% compared to 99.77% last year, the mid-north region has finished planting. With 7.13 and 10.50 percentage points respectively, the Northeast and Southeast regions recorded the biggest weekly increases.
