HARVEST OF SAFRINHA CORN REACHES 42% OF THE AREA IN PARANÁ, REPORTS DERAL

The harvest of the second corn crop in Paraná reached 42% of crops until this Monday, 24th, compared to 29% in the previous week. The information is from the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the state’s agriculture department. The development condition is good in 48% of the total estimated area, according to Deral. The condition is average at 34%, in addition to being bad at 18%, the same rates as the previous week. Second harvest corn crops are in the following phases: 23% in the fruiting phase and 77% in the maturation phase.
