Goiás reached a historic milestone in the 2024/25 harvest, producing 20.4 million tons of soybeans, a 21.4% increase from the previous cycle. The cultivated area expanded by 2.5% to 4.9 million hectares, while productivity grew 18.4%, hitting a record 4.1 tons per hectare. The results, presented in the 11th Survey of the National Supply Company, highlight that the rise stems mainly from gains in productivity, supported by research, technical assistance, and public policies. With this performance, Goiás stands out as the national leader in soybean productivity and the third-largest producer in Brazil, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between producers, experts, and institutions.
