Brazil’s fertilizer imports from January to November 2025 reached a record 41.73 million tons, surpassing the 40.84 million tons imported in the same period in 2024, according to the National Supply Company (Conab). This increase reflects farmers’ confidence in a more favorable outlook for Brazilian agribusiness in the international market. The port of Paranaguá (PR) remained the country’s main entry point, receiving 10.16 million tons. Meanwhile, the Arco Norte route emerged as the second-largest gateway for fertilizers, handling 7.56 million tons and surpassing the port of Santos for the first time, which received approximately 7.52 million tons.
