FERTILIZER DELIVERY GROWS IN THE FIRST TWO MONTHS OF 2025

Fertilizer deliveries in Brazil rose 7.7% in the first two months of 2025 compared to 2024, reaching 7.07 million tons. February alone saw a 17.7% year-on-year increase. National production of intermediate fertilizers grew 12%, while imports rose 10.1%, totaling 6 million tons; February imports increased 19%. Exports remained stable with marginal gains. Mato Grosso led in state-level deliveries with 1.91 million tons (+11.1%), followed by Paraná (+22.6%), Goiás (+14.5%), and Mato Grosso do Sul (+32.8%). Smaller increases occurred in Minas Gerais (+3.9%) and São Paulo (+1.6%), while Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul saw declines of 13% and 3.5%, respectively.
