Fertilizer deliveries in Brazil reached 2.68 million tons in April 2025, a 16.8% increase compared to April 2024, according to ANDA. From January to April, deliveries totaled 12.12 million tons, up 10.7% year-over-year. The rise reflects the sector’s resilience amid geopolitical and logistical challenges, as Brazil aims for a record 2024/2025 harvest. Mato Grosso led in market deliveries (2.93 million tons), followed by Paraná, Goiás, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais. Domestic production of intermediate fertilizers grew 6.3% in April and 9.1% over the first four months. Imports also increased: 2.76 million tons in April (up 7.2%) and 11.26 million from January to April (up 12.2%). The Port of Paranaguá, the main entry hub, received 3.04 million tons—27% of national imports.
