ESPÍRITO SANTO SEES 4.1% GROWTH IN GRAIN OUTPUT FOR 2024-2025 HARVEST

Driven by a 5.7% rise in productivity, Espírito Santo’s 2024-25 grain harvest grew by 4.1% to reach 71.3 thousand tons, up from 68.5 thousand tons the previous cycle. According to Conab, this advance was achieved even as the planted area remained nearly stable at 25.2 thousand hectares. Corn, the primary grain, saw a production of 62 thousand tons (+5%), and beans contributed 9 thousand tons. This result emphasizes the effectiveness of local crops and reinforces Espírito Santo’s agriculture on the national arena, without the need for area development.
