Eldorado Brasil, an affiliate of the J&F group, inaugurated earlier this week its new Port Terminal in Santos-SP, with a warehouse capacity of 150 thousand tons of pulp. The J&F terminal, which cost BRL 500 million, can handle 72 railcars as well as the simultaneous loading of up to two ships. It is intended to be one of the most modern port terminals in the world, with a BRL 500 million investment and a nominal capacity of 3 million tons of pulp per year, three times what the firm operated at its previous terminal in Santos.
