DERAL FORECAST: PARANA’S 2025-26 SOYBEAN CROP TO REACH 21.96 MILLION TONS

Paraná is projected to harvest 21.96 million tons of soybeans in the 2025-26 season, a 4% increase from the previous harvest, according to Deral. The cultivated area remains stable at 5.776 million hectares, with 71% of planting finished and 97% of crops in good condition. For summer corn, production is forecast at 3.46 million tons, a 13% rise, supported by a 20% expansion in the planted area. Concluding with record productivity of over 3,173 kg/ha, the wheat harvest has reached a total output of about 2.75 million tons. This marks an 18% increase from the previous harvest, achieved despite a 25% smaller cultivated area, thanks to a favorable climate and sunny weather that ensured strong yields and quality across the state.
