CORN HARVEST IN PARANÁ IS 67% COMPLETE, SAYS DERAL

The harvest of Paraná’s second corn crop reached 67% of crops as of yesterday, the 15th, according to the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the state’s agriculture secretariat. The value represents an increase of just one percentage point compared to 66% in the previous week. According to Deral, the development condition is good in 43% of the estimated total area. In 36%, the condition is average; while at 21%, bad. Second harvest corn crops are in the following phases: 3% in the fruiting phase and 97% in the maturation phase.
