Conab has raised its 2025 coffee harvest forecast to 56.5 million bags, a 4.3% increase from 2024. This is driven by a strong 42.1% rebound in conilon production to 20.8 million bags. In contrast, arabica output is projected to fall 9.7% due to its off-year cycle and unfavorable weather. The planted area is 2.26 million hectares, with national productivity up 5.5% to 30.4 bags per hectare. Production declined in Minas Gerais and São Paulo, but grew in Espírito Santo, Bahia, and Rondônia, led by conilon expansion. Although export volume is lower, revenue through October reached USD 12.9 billion, surpassing 2024’s total.
