CARGO HANDLING AT SAN FRANCISCO PORT SEES 7% INCREASE IN FIRST SEVEN MONTHS OF 2025

From January to July 2025, the volume of cargo handled at the Port of São Francisco do Sul increased by 7% to 10.5 million tons, up from 9.8 million in 2024. Exports accounted for 55% of total volume, with soybeans (4 million tons) and corn (1.3 million). Imports totaled 4.7 million tons, led by steel (2.8 million) and fertilizers (1.6 million).
