Brazil’s trade balance registered a surplus of US$2.1 billion and a trade flow of US$11 billion in the fourth week of November 2024, with exports totaling US$6.533 billion and imports US$4.471 billion. For the month, the surplus reached US$6.3 billion, with exports at US$21.6 billion and imports at US$15.3 billion. Year-to-date, the surplus stands at US$69.284 billion from exports of US$306.047 billion and imports of US$236.763 billion. Compared to November 2023, exports grew by 10.6%, while imports rose by 14.6%. By sector, year-to-date, export highlights include a 22.5% increase in Manufacturing and a 9.9% rise in Extractive Industries, while Agriculture declined 17.6%. For imports, Agriculture and Manufacturing grew, while the Extractive Industry fell.
