BRAZIL’S SUGAR EXPORTS TO REACH 1.83 MILLION TONS IN FEBRUARY

Brazilian ports are experiencing high sugar export activity, with 46 vessels queuing as of February 11, according to Williams Brazil. Scheduled shipments total 1.83 million tons, an increase from the previous week. The Port of Santos handles over half of this volume, followed by the ports of Paranaguá, São Sebastião, Maceió, Suape, and Recife. VHP sugar accounts for the majority of shipments. Data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade shows that in the first five working days of February, Brazil exported 762,600 tons, generating USD 282.6 million in revenue.
