BRAZIL’S SOYBEAN HARVEST SET TO SOAR TO RECORD 174 MILLION TONS IN 2024-25

The Brazilian soybean harvest in 2024–2025 is expected to reach a record 174 million tons, surpassing the previous forecast of 170.8 million tons, according to consulting firm Céleres. The increase is due to the favorable weather conditions that boost the growth of the summer crop. As the weather improved, the initial projection from August 2024 was raised to 169.9 million tons. The harvest could represent a 15-million-ton increase over the previous harvest, with a focus on crop recovery in the Midwest, North, and Northeast regions of Brazil.
