Brazil’s production of DDG/DDGS, key by-products of corn ethanol, continues its strong expansion alongside the growing sector. According to the National Union of Corn Ethanol (Unem), output is projected to rise 19.05% from 4.11 million tons in 2024-25 to 4.9 million tons in 2025-26. This solidifies DDG/DDGS as a major value generator within the ethanol chain. For 2026-27, production is expected to hold steady at 4.9 million tons, sustained by robust domestic and international demand driven by intensive livestock farming and new market opportunities.
