Brazil’s 2024/25 corn harvest was projected at a record 137 million tonnes by Conab, up 5 million from last month’s forecast, driven by higher second-crop output now estimated at 109.6 million tonnes. The state agency also raised its export projection to 40 million tonnes, compared with 36 million previously, citing increased domestic supply and the likelihood of international buyers turning to South American corn amid ongoing tariff disputes between the U.S. and major grain importers.
