BRAZIL’S BIGGEST EXPORT OF SOYBEAN AND CORN IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR IN JULY

According to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), Brazil’s exports of soybeans, soybean meal, corn, and wheat in July are expected to be more than 18 million tons, making it the biggest monthly volume in the year. The total to be shipped, which will primarily consist of soy and corn, should increase by more than 600,000 tons from June and will surpass the volume of the same month last year by 3.36 million tons. The shipments expected for this month, which begin with increased volumes of corn exports from Brazil as the record second crop harvest picks up speed, should continue challenging Brazil’s logistical capacities, as the country ships millions of tons of sugar at the same time.
