BRAZIL’S AGRICULTURE EXPORTS HIT USD 15.20 BILLION IN JUNE AND USD 82.39 BILLION IN SIX MONTHS

Brazilian agriculture exports totaled USD 15.20 billion in June 2024, up from USD 15.02 billion in May. The volume of exported grains increased by 0.7%; sugarcane and cellulose also rose. Agriculture exports reached USD 166.20 billion in the previous 12 months, accounting for 48.6% of Brazilian exports. In the first half of 2024, the export value was USD 82.39 billion, the second highest. The primary industries were soybeans, beef, sugar and alcohol, forest products, and coffee, which accounted for 82.8% of foreign sales.
