Brazil’s agricultural exports reached USD 82 billion in the first half of 2025, maintaining stability (-0.2%) despite declining global prices and accounting for 49.5% of the country’s total exports. June shipments totaled USD 14.6 billion, led by cellulose, orange juice, soybean meal, cotton, and chocolate. The sector received a significant boost when the WHO recognized Brazil as free from foot-and-mouth disease without vaccination, enhancing its standing as a dependable global supplier. China remained the top market, followed by the EU and the US. Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia saw an increase. Through market diversification strategies and proactive initiatives by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Brazil aims to expand trade opportunities, maintain sanitary standards, and increase product value, reinforcing agribusiness as both an economic driver and a cornerstone of the nation’s foreign trade success
